M.L. Isdakorn Kasemsri graduated with a LL.B from Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok) in 1972 and received his LL.M from Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia in 1976. He was formerly a judge advocate officer of the Judge Advocate General’s Department and a prosecutor to the Military Court. Between 1981 and 1989 he worked as a legal counselor and was the director of the Legal Department of Asoke International Trading Co., Ltd. After working offshore as a legal counsel for Edward G. Martin & Associates in Dallas, Texas from 1989 to 1991, he moved back to Bangkok and worked as a senior manager and then a director in the Legal and Tax Services Department of SGV Arthur Andersen for 5 years (1991-1995) where he was appointed to provide legal and tax services for more than 200 clients. From 1995 to 1999, he joined the law firm of Freshfields Ltd. (Bangkok) where his chief areas of responsibility related to corporate structuring, tax planning, contracting and investment issues. From 1999 to 2004, he joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos Co., Ltd. (Bangkok) as director in the Legal and Tax Department where he was appointed as the key leader on numerous projects and providing legal and tax services for many major international clients.

M.L. Isdakorn Kasemsri has extensive experience in legal and tax practices for more than 30 years. His capability has covered a variety of fields in legal and tax areas relating to broad range of business industries.
